At Complete Care Physiotherapy & Osteopathy, we do Physiotherapy differently.
We believe in total patient satisfaction and strive to deliver only the best care possible. If for any reason you are not absolutely delighted with any aspect of our service, we will insist on not charging you and give you your next session for free.
Your friendly and caring Physio will begin by asking you a series of questions about what is troubling you and why sought out help. This will include taking a brief history of the problem, some questions about your lifestyle and daily activities, and about your general health.
The Physio will want to understand your main reason for seeking treatment and any goals you hope to achieve by doing so.
To fully understand your problem, the Physio will undertake a series of tests to help diagnose the problem. These tests are generally pain-free.
Treatment will commence once a diagnosis has been established and the causative factors to your pain have been determined.
Treatment may consist of soft-tissue therapy to help relax the muscles, joint mobilisation to free up any joint stiffness and stretches and exercises to maintain the effects of treatments.
As most pain originates form the nervous system, our therapists also have the unique skill of being able to treat the nervous system. This is generally achieved through simple nerve stretches to alleviate your pain. This type of therapy works best for individuals suffering from Sciatica or headaches.
The Physio will then prescribe some simple exercises and advice you on how to best manage your problem after the treatment consultation.
Finally, the Physio will speak to you about a treatment plan to help you not only get out of pain fast but to you get active again. Your treatment plan may also include spinal mobilisation, soft-tissue therapy, dry needling, gym exercises, or a referral to a GP or Specialist for other tests to help diagnose your problem.
Through this thorough assessment and treatment, your Physio will understand you better and understand how to best fix your pain.
